We humbly ASK YAHabah to remove our shortcomings and fill what is empty with RUACH HaKodesh. Fasting without ASK leaves you hungry and not RUAH-FILLED. This is the hinge of FASK — Fast, Ask, Seek, Knock.
The work — Get on your face. Ask specifically. Do not edit the request to make it sound spiritual. Ask for the defect to be removed and the RUACH to take that room.
Ask, and it shall be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
